Publisher's Descriptions
PrivacyDefence is easy and powerful tool everybody should have. It removes unwanted browser, programs and system tracks without breaking their functionality, it's fully customizable and supports 18 programs. Left as is, unwanted system logs can seriously impair your confidentiality because all your Internet activity can be easily recovered: Web pages you've viewed, pictures you've opened, videos you've seen, programs you've launched are all in these logs. PrivacyDefence has some useful functions: runs by a schedule, performs free space cleanup, integrates into IE toolbar, can be protected by master password and etc. There are two ways to delete the logs themselves - fast deletion or wiping by US Department of Defence Standard DoD 5220.22. The main innovation is called Secure Session mode and it's extremely useful. It's aimed to keep the logs you want (like old IE browser history, typed urls, cookies etc), while removing ones you don't want kept. Everything that is logged during Secure Session will be deleted, leaving everything as it was before and will appear as though the computer was untouched, deleting everything you don't want to be there. List of supported programs: Internet Explorer 4+, 5+, 6+; Opera 6+, 7+; Netscape 4.61, 6+, 7+; Mozilla 1.0+; America Online 8; FlashGet 1.40+; GetRight; ReGet Deluxe 3.2+, Pro 3.2+, Junior 2.2; ACDSee 4+, 5+; IrfanView 3.80+; XnView 1.61+; PowerDVD 5+; QuickTime 6+; RealPlayer/RealONE; Windows Media Player 6.4 - 9+; WinDVD 4+
